Dr Tim Bristow

Tim’s career in education has spanned almost forty years, with roles of teacher, adviser, headteacher, Her Majesty’s Inspector of schools (HMI) and Senior HMI.

In 2016 he was appointed HMI Senior Advisor. During his time with HMI Tim has quality assured and reported on the inspection process publishing reports and findings and provided training for inspectors and school leaders. He has been responsible for ensuring accountability for the quality of education provided by local authorities in the East of England.

Alongside these roles Tim has completed a Master’s degree in Education (MEd) and in 2008 a Doctorate in Education (EdD).
